About Me

Hello & Welcome!

My name is Bryn Jennings. I’m a yoga student and teacher, tarot enthusiast and reader, artist and maker, youth worker, educator, and lifelong student based in Toronto, Canada. My path has been a winding one, and I’m so glad it has brought me to you, right here and now.

My Background & Journey

I consider myself a perennial student, and I hope to pass on the joy of exploration in all my offerings. I want to create a space for people to move with curiosity and playfulness, to listen to their own inner knowing, and to learn in collaboration with me. The through-line in all my work is embodied creation: tuning deeply into yourself, moving energy through the body, and making your truth known.

My background is in youth work and arts education. I worked for many years in youth shelters and drop-ins, creating and providing arts and recreational programming for community members. During this time, I was also engaged in my own art practice, and beginning my yoga journey. I first started attending gentle yoga classes at my local community centre for the self-care and mental health benefits. But overtime I began to feel profound shifts in myself and became curious to learn more about this amazing practice. As my practice grew it began to naturally weave into all that I do - art, education, tarot - until each of these practices started to grow together and inform one another. It became clear that I wasn’t stepping out on a new path of teaching yoga, but rather integrating everything that had brought me to this moment.

And so Radical Vibes was born. The name Radical Vibes is meant to capture the spiritual soul and punk rock heart of my approach. I believe there is disruption inherent in getting to know yourself intimately, mindbodyspirit, and learning to move through this world with compassion. I believe that movement, creative expression, and reflective practice are essential elements of an embodied life, and that embodiment is key to the revolution. For me, living my yoga is a radical act, which challenges the fast paced, competitive, goal oriented status quo. Moving slowly, with intention and softness, challenges the capitalist imperative of endless growth, and opens up space for creating smaller, deeper connections to ourselves and our communities. It is from this place that I offer my work to you, with the hope that it will support your journey of self-discovery and actualization. I feel so lucky to be able to share my love of teaching and the gifts of embodied practice with you.
